Growing mushrooms indoors

Pink_oyster.jpg

Look at this beauty! Pleurotus Salmoneo or pink oyster mushroom is not only beautiful but also possible to grow indoors at home.

And since the gardening period outdoors is now slowing down here in Sweden, I thought that I will give it a try! And they are supposed to be easy to grow, now I’m super exited to see how this turns out!!!

I never tasted the pink oyster mushroom before, but read that the flavour has a hint of seafood, which can be interesting for someone like me with seafood allergy.

So, I found a starter kit at a Swedish website Ecofungi and started the process today!

after some time i can open one of the openings on the container to peak inside and see if there are any mushrooms on the way .
